Sungjin HONG

Sungjin began his career with the Korean National Police in 2005, specializing in cybercrime investigations and international cooperation. He participated in major cases including state network hacking incidents and the Sony Entertainment hack. From 2017 to 2022, he was seconded to INTERPOL’s Cybercrime Directorate for five years. Since 2022, he has served as a founding member of the I-SOP project, focusing on international cooperation against digital piracy organizations, intelligence analysis, and capacity building for member countries. He is an amateur script writer who won competitions in 2022 and 2024. He enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and yoga after work.
