Jean-Baptiste Roy

Jean-Baptiste Roy has spent the last 15+ years in Asia at the intersection of capital, brands, technology, and sport, building bridges between Asia and global markets. He is the Founding Partner of Asia Sports Tech (AST), which he launched in 2018 and grew into a leading platform for market entry, growth strategy, and financial advisory for rights holders, brands, and sportstech companies.

Previously, Jean-Baptiste served as Director of PE/VC for a European family office in Asia and has worked as an investor, operator, and advisor with organizations including Fosun, the Hong Kong Jockey Club, LVMH, and leading PE/VC funds. Educated at SKEMA Business School and HKUST, he mentors at sports innovation hubs and academic institutions. A committed athlete (HYROX, cycling, tennis, scuba), he believes wellness is both a personal journey and a transformative business frontier.
