Federico Smanio

Federico Smanio is the CEO of Wylab, Italy’s first sports-tech incubator, and a former professional footballer. With over 25 years in professional sports and a decade advising startups, corporates, and institutions, he is an expert in innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. A university lecturer and frequent speaker at national and international events, he has served since 2022 as Program Director of WeSportUp, the sports and wellness accelerator promoted by Sport e Salute and CDP, the Italian National Innovation Fund.
