Hicham Chahine

Hicham Chahine is the Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer, and Director of NIP Group, the parent company of Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), and currently serves as CEO of NIP’s Western operations. Since acquiring NIP in 2016, Hicham has transformed the organisation into a global esports and digital entertainment powerhouse.

Prior to founding NIP Group, his experience spanned global finance and entrepreneurship: from May 2008 to June 2016, he was Managing Director of Hedge Funds (approximately $100 billion AUM) at Formue, the largest wealth management firm in the Nordics, and in February 2010, he founded and chaired Diglife AS, a private equity firm investing in lifestyle, gaming, and technology ventures.

Hicham holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from BI Norwegian Business School and is recognised as the youngest founder to list a company on a US main list from the Middle East, Arab World, and Nordics, reflecting his landmark achievements in global business and digital entertainment.
