Saqr Ereiqat

Saqr Ereiqat is the Secretary General of the Dubai Digital Asset Association, where he leads efforts to build and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital assets and blockchain innovation. With over two decades of experience in technology, strategy, and ecosystem development, Saqr has been instrumental in shaping the region’s blockchain and fintech landscape. A visionary leader, he co-founded several pioneering initiatives including Crypto Oasis Ventures, Arte.community, The Green Block, and Riddermark, each focused on advancing Web3 adoption, sustainability, and digital transformation. Previously, during his 13 years at IBM, he delivered blockchain solutions for governments and enterprises across 23 countries, helping design Dubai’s government blockchain strategy and establishing Saudi Arabia’s National Health Lab for Emerging Technology. Saqr continues to mentor startups, advise global organizations, and advocate for responsible innovation across fintech, govtech, and sustainability-focused blockchain initiatives.
