Tapio Rosenius

Tapio Rosenius is a designer, entrepreneur, and pioneer in responsive lighting and real-time media architecture. With more than 25 years of experience working at the intersection of design, technology, and human behavior, he is the Founder and CEO of Skandal Technologies, creators of Poet Software, a control platform that brings intelligent, data-driven communication to stadiums and large venues.

Tapio’s work explores how light, digital media, sensing, and AI can shape human experience in physical space. He has led groundbreaking projects across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States, collaborating with global brands and cultural institutions. His innovations in biomimetic lighting and ambient communication have earned international recognition, including the AV Awards “Control & Management Technology of the Year,” the Media Architecture Biennale Award, and more.
